Rattling, humming, or clunking noises
This is caused by low or contaminated transmission fluid, damaged gears, failing bearings, a worn torque converter, misaligned gear sets, or a failing transmission pump, all of which can disrupt proper lubrication and gear engagement.
Jerky or delayed shifting
This may be caused by degraded transmission fluid, clogged transmission filters, worn clutch packs or bands, a faulty shift solenoid, valve body problems, or issues with the transmission control module, these issues interfere with hydraulic pressure and timing during gear changes.
High engine revs with little movement
This is caused by severely worn clutch packs, slipping transmission bands, low or burnt transmission fluid, a failing torque converter, or internal gear damage, all of which prevent the transmission from properly transferring engine power to the wheels.
